Bentley & More welcomes newest clerk from the OCTLA Internship Program
Today we celebrate our newest intern reporting for duty at Bentley & More! We are thrilled to welcome Misha Jamshidi to the team!
Ms. Jamshidi is a third-year law student at Chapman University. During her time at Chapman, Misha participated in the Golden Gavel Oral Argument competition where she was placed as a finalist. This led to her being offered a spot on the University’s Elite Moot Court team. Ms. Jamshidi also was invited to join the University’s Mock Trial team her first year. Misha has traveled to Seattle and Los Angeles to compete for her school in an Appellate Court competition centering on First Amendment rights, and two labor law competitions. These experiences have solidified Ms. Jamshidi’s passion for litigation and oral advocacy.
Ms. Jamshidi has also been a part of the business, entertainment, and criminal law societies while in law school. She is part of the Big Sibling program to help first year law students’ transition, as well as serving as a tutor in criminal law for them. During her first summer, Ms. Jamshidi had the opportunity to clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. During this time, she got to participate in an FBI/SWATT/LAPD training program, tour maximum security prisons, and tour Homeland Security Offices. Ms. Jamshidi also worked at a private criminal defense firm her second year, for former DA Michael Fell.
This Summer, Misha is participating in the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) Fellowship where she will intern at Bentley & More.
Ms. Jamshidi has a strong interest in employment and personal injury law, and aspires to be a trial attorney.
